The Village of Northport welcomes LGBTQ+ communities and their allies to celebrate Pride in Northport.
PRIDEFEST In The Park Recap
The centerpiece event was Pridefest in the Park, a “pre-tea” afternoon music festival, with a brief program, and vendors located harborside at the foot of Main Street.
Pridefest in the Park was presented on Saturday, June 17 from 1pm to
4 pm. Attendees were encouraged to enjoy the music, stroll among the vendor tents, picnic in the park, explore Northport’s many specialty shops, galleries, antique stores, restaurants, wine stores, brewery, the museum or enjoy a matinee or evening performance of “Sound of Music” at the Engeman Theater. Some locations hosted “tea” starting at 4 p.m., and the Northport Historical Society Museum had a special Pride exhibit.

The month-long celebration kicked off with a ceremonial Pride flag-raising at Village Hall, hosted by Mayor Donna Koch, on Thursday, June 1 at 12 noon. The Pride flag is flying over Village Hall and the Police Headquarters throughout June.

Northport Pridefest was presented by the Incorporated Village of Northport. It was and will continue to be produced by Schramm Marketing Group with the support of a corps of local volunteers, and the promotional support of local media, and the Northport Farmer’s Market.
